Les Cocottes de Christian Constant

Les Cocottes de Christian Constant

If you’re in Paris looking for authentic and delicious French cuisine from the Basque region in a non-pretentious and non-touristy atmosphere, then Les Cocoettes new tapas bar style restaurant opened by popular French chef Christian Constant is the best place to head to in the 7th arrondisment. This is the fourth restaurant by Christian who also runs le Caf? Constant. As the name suggest all the food is actually prepared and served in a cocotte (french casserole). With the food originating from the South West of France it?s a true sensory delight for the taste buds, only the best and in season ingredients are used.

Good food, good wine at a cost that’s reasonable.
Above, picture of the ambiance and my pumpkin soup (Veloute de Pottimorron moulliettes de Pain de campaigne), this pumpkin soup with small pieces of bacon topped with cream was so sublime.
