The bookshop at Cent Quatre [104] Paris is one of the best bookshops in the 19th arrondissement.
With its rich array of children’s books, glossies, novels, and regular author readings it’s easily one of my best spots to hang out on a saturday morning.
My son and I usually go straight to the back where there are wooden type stairs/seats available to read and narrow down you’re selection of books.
It’s also a great place to pick up gifts for all ages – I saw many kids masks and toys and I even bought myself a ravioli cookbook and cutter gift set last month.
Their selection of books on street art was quite impressive and if you love graphic coffee table books you won’t be disappointed.
PS. 104 is a really cool space in Paris that I love – in the past month I’ve been there to see THE XX in concert, walk around to watch the dance performer and actors who come to practice, work from my laptop (free Wi-Fi internet access), and had lunch at the Cafe Cache!.
There is a also a decent second hand store beside it ( Emmaus), that I’m yet to visit because it’s been closed for all of the christmas holidays – but as soon as I can I’ll do a post on them here.
