Co My Cantine: Late-night Vietnamese in Paris

good vietnamese restaurant in paris

We stopped into Co My Cantine at 11pm on a Sunday night recently, after being coaxed by friends who lived in the neighborhood because ?It is one of our favorites!?
Oh gawd. This to me meant it was probably their favorite because they lived close by and could just walk home afterwards. But fancy my pleasant surprise when my Bo Bun for 9 Euros (a big plate), tuned out to be one of the best I?ve ever had! The ingredients were very fresh ,the beef was the right thickness and well cooked, and spring rolls perfectly crunchy without being too greasy – just to my liking.

If you?re in the Menilmontant area of Paris and have a late night craving for Vietnamese cuisine be sure to check them out. My friends had shrimp soups and vegetarian dishes; all 9 euros a plate.

The interiors are a bit bare minimum with canteen styled seating. A medium sized place that can easily hold around 20 people. The table we had seated 8.
