A quick and dirty guide to celebrating the biggest music day (kind of city-wide free music festival ) in Paris. ?June 21 is awaited every summer to kick off the warm weather and (even more) leisurely days. Get out to the bars, bistros and benches!
Our list is mostly categorized by genres of Jazz, Reggae, Rock and Electro – it’s a diverse mix that includes some funky mash-ups of Rock being played on Church steps and Reggae in Tree houses in the Park.

So this year is about putting an emphasis on having fun and shining a favorable light on Paris after a rough year with all the terror attacks, and damp weather – the city hall “Mairie” of Paris will have a week long celebration at the Salon des Mar?chaux ?presented by the Minister of Culture from the ?18th to the 25th of June.
