Bambou is one of those fancy restaurants that’s trying a bit too hard but you’ve got to love the effort! Hey, it’s the end of the year and I’ve realized we still have more Parisian hotspots to share before 2017 is done.
This Asian fusion spot close to Grand Boulevard is massive and the beautiful decor transports us to a different place and time. The space with many seating sections and even a garden. I’d highly recommend reservations as they can get quite busy.
So it’s a great place for a business lunch or even group dinner. You’ll likely be rubbing shoulders with the eclectic business savvy and pretentious.
For example, while there I was shown George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend at the table beside us!
All in all, service is less than desirable, with the waiters pretending to be too cool for school, but the food was great! I had a pad Thai and it was yummy and filling. They also have a a few vegetarian options and a good wine selection.
