There are many places to eat Indian food in Paris, but one of the best neighborhoods will be in La Chapelle! An area more to the north of Paris that sits between both Gare du Nord and La Chapelle metros.
The history of the arrondissement is one where many Tamil settlers came fleeing civil war in the 1980s, and the numbers are said to be highest in Paris.
This Saturday my son and I went for lunch at one of our favorite spots
Dishney Restuarant – I always get the vegetarian Thali (11 euros) and he gets the shrimp Byriani (13 euros)
The portions are generous and the food is always yummy.
While there though I noticed that they had updated the menu and one of the people at a table close to us mentioned that they have more or less included more “french-ised” dishes… they also have traditional desserts and a pretty impressive cocktail menu ( I have never personally tried the alcohol though!)

VT Cash and Carry – the best place I like to shop for Indian and Jamaican food; pretty much a lot of the same fruits (mango, plums, jackfruits, etc) they don’t have any ackee though!) I’d say definitely a place to go for Caribbean type ingredients in Paris

Muniyandi Vilas – a small restaurant that is quite popular in the area for its food and cheapest menu option for under 5euros! so if you’re a student on a budget to eat in Paris this cannot be beaten! I love it because it’s a place where the energy is fast-paced but the food is always decent.

Bouffes du Nord theater (Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord) – a really old but popular theathre in Paris across from the La Chapelle metro with a vivasious theatre cafe out front before shows.
