We had a rather smooth month here taking a week away from Paris to go visit the Loire Valley – a first for me!
We stayed near Chinon in a little house on a farm with chickens, ducks and geese … haha imagine the ambiance in the mornings when we go out of the house.
It was equipped with everything to house us for the week and was a perfect base to visit 4 chateaux and endless beautiful small towns in one of the most stunning parts of France.
We visited the Chateaux Blois, Usse, Chambord and Chenonceau.
