Last night after a late night dinner with one of my friends in Montmartre, on our way home we walked into one of the most beautiful sights: hundreds of people spread out at the lawns down below Sacre Coeur, completely mesmerized by a big screen of a old black and white film.
This particular one was had German subtitles (most times it’s in English); but it was a pleasure to watch the last remaining 30 minutes of what seemed to be a film-noir in the cool Parisian night breeze.
Over the course of this summer 2012, there are many ongoing movie screenings in Paris; two specifically interesting and massive ones; in both size and fun, are by Forum des Images and Parc de la Villette.
1 – Cin?ma au clair de lune – This 12th annual festival from Forum des Images, is underway this year and it moves around to a new Parisian neighborhoods with each movie they feature. Entry is always free and movies are projected on the sides of buildings or massive inflatable screens.
