A new bagel shop opens in paris that offers a fresh selection of pressed juices and american styled baked goods in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. They also have coffee from Belleville Roasters.

I’ve been to Bob’s Bake Shop now many times and I’ve tried all the baked pastries: Key Lime Pie, Pecan Pie and Chocolate brownie  – they were all scrumptious!

Not a big fan of the minimalist interior – feels a bit cold – not intimate enough and you don’t know quite where to start when you enter the space.

But I love to lounge with friends on the big benches they have out front when the sun is out.

A friend pointed out that they use way too much plastic, and I think they could probably use one more person behind the cash counter when there’s a crowd.

Mixed crowd of curious French folks, hipsters, trying their bagels and anglophones, young and old.
