Salt is a contemporary bistro that has some of the best seafood meals in Paris. I first discovered them at the Taste of Paris event and we pleasantly surprised. English-speaking staff and some good wine selection. Meals (at lunch) are 23 Euros.

Copperbay a large cocktail bar offering decent priced (most start at 9 euros) between Faubourg Saint-Denis and Republic. Friendly staff and perfect for an after work drink or chilling with pals (small space though). Closed Sunday and Monday.

TEA
Kodama is one of the best tea houses in paris with the most aromatic selection of high teas. They also serve coffee. Perfect place for an afternoon meet up in Paris close to Etienne Marcel.? Closed on Monday.

Les Bains Paris back in its original heyday was very much the Studio 54 of Paris. And has gone through various periods of rebirth to the dance and nightlife scene in Paris in the 1990s. Now the magnificent?19th century building that holds so many of paris secret is one of the most luxurious places to sleep in central paris.

If you’re looking for a cool place to have yoga (it’s in French though) Le Perchoir welcomes you and your yogi pals every monday night for a fit and relaxing session with Claire of GET Yogi (she speaks english so you can tell her at the beginning of the class if you’re not fluent).? www.getyogi.fr
SHOP
Cheese and speciality shop La Fine ?picerie de la Goutte d’Or is my go to place for the? most addictive Gouda and truffle cheese. Not to mention the price is “correct” when compared to other shops close by. This is a new spot in the La Goutte D’or that’s slowly changing the neighborhood and its food selection. Closed on Mondays.

The team at Que Faire Paris has done a great job with a walking tour that takes us to some of the monumental spots of the late great French novelist Colette.
