Paris in May feels like a quiet celebration – it’s sweet ease. It’s the month with the most “pont” days off/legal holidays that lead into or out of the weekend, making long weekend vacations… if that makes sense.
As I write this, I am at Place des Vosges, sitting on the grass, and I am surrounded by many people also enjoying the sun and warmer weather. The city has fully exhaled from winter; terraces are alive again, and there’s a gentle rhythm in the air. Many Parisians are away for the school vacations. Right now, we have longer days, golden evenings, and that feeling that anything can happen between a morning coffee and a sunset walk along the Seine River.
After a full (and very gray) February and a blossoming March, I’ve been lucky to meet so many of you in real life, wandering through Montmartre, getting lost in Le Marais, sharing stories over coffee… the kind of moments that remind me why I love what I do.
And now, I’m so happy to say: my May 2025 Paris tour dates are open.
Who Are My Paris Tours For?
If you’re the kind of traveler who says, “I don’t usually do tours…” haha baby, you’re exactly who I created these for.
This isn’t about ticking off monuments. If this is your first time, I will definitely tell you about the “must do” but in the best way, with lots of options!
Thinks of it as wandering around with a friend of a friend. It’s about experiencing Paris in a way that feels natural, personal, and a little bit magical.
We walk at a gentle pace, pause when something catches our eye, and we talk about life here, culture, food, lifestyle, not just history (even though I am a history buff through and through!).
What to Expect on My One-on-One Paris Tours

Each experience is tailored to you.
You might want:
- The village charm of Montmartre (my home for over 9 years)
- The layered history of Le Marais (where I used to live)
- A soft afternoon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
- Or a treasure hunt through the Saint-Ouen flea markets
- Want to learn more about Perfumes and Passages (this is my new tour!)
No two tours are ever the same and that’s the point.
Along the way, we might:
- Discover a tiny boutique you’d never find alone
- Stop for coffee at a place locals actually go
- Talk about creativity, life in Paris, or even your own story
- Build a list of things for you to do during the rest of your stay
You’re not just booking a tour, you’re getting a local lens on the city, shaped by over 10 years of living, exploring, and sharing Paris.
A Few Moments From Recent Tours
Some recent highlights:
- A slow walk along the Seine as the light changed every minute
- Coffee breaks tucked away near the Louvre
- Visiting local designers and artisans in Le Marais
- Finding vintage treasures at the flea market (and negotiating prices like a pro )
To those of you who’ve joined me recently, thank you so much! Truly. These moments stay with me.

A Personal Note: Paris in May
May is when Paris feels… soft, open, and alive.
Here are a few things happening in the city this month:
- Fête du Travail (May 1st)
A public holiday where many shops close, but you’ll see lily of the valley being sold on every corner, a beautiful French tradition. - Nuit des Musées (mid-May around)
Museums across Paris open late into the night, often for free. It’s one of my favorite ways to experience the city differently. - French Open Roland-Garros (late May – early June)
Even if you’re not a tennis fan, there’s an energy in the air around this time. - Long evenings are perfect for picnics along the Seine or in places like the Jardin du Luxembourg
Come Spend a Day in Paris With Me
Whether it’s your first time in Paris or your fifth, there’s always another layer to discover.
And sometimes, all it takes is slowing down… and seeing the city through a different lens.
If that speaks to you, I’d love to walk together; we will have so much fun!
For more stories, soft Paris moments, and my favorite local finds, you can also join me on Substack, where I share a little more behind the scenes of this life here.
Bisous,
