Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs Exposition

The museum Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris has a very fashionable exhibition on the retrospective ( or analysis as thy call it) of the brand started by legendary French Malletier and now famous fashion house Louis Vuitton, which juxtaposes the achievements and lives of the traditional founder against the present Creative Director Marc Jacobs.

Photos from Colette Carnival

Here are the photos from the Colette Paris 15th Anniversary Party “Colette Carnival” held at the Tulleries gardens in Paris last week. There was tons of giveaways, food, music, clothes, games, and of course tons of hipsters. In the spirit of the carnival it was truly a madhouse of fun; a mini basketball court, mini live performance, mini pop-up shops, mini gourmet burgers…you get the idea.

Even Mickey was in the house at Colette Carnival

I especially enjoyed the photo booth by Maison Michel Hats, the Hot dog stands, and the free giveaways. Oh and I won a t-shirt from Kenzo Paris ( as in I shamelessly managed to out jump a group of women).

There were tons of activities for small kids, my son had a blast with the old Atari machines and vintage style Bowling games.

Cinema for small kids in Paris

Every year Le Forum des Images holds a film festival for small kids (called Le Tout Petits Cinema in French) in the center of Paris (metro Les Halles).

Filled with animated screening and interactive workshops for kids 18 months and up.

It’s mostly in French, but some of the projected films are from all over world: Japan, Germany and The UK.

And for the really small kids many of the films are just accompanied with music instead of dialogue: a cine-concert.
