Great musical ambiance for the whole family and discounted admission to the museum at 3 Euros down from 7 Euros. Free admission.

3. Lounge at a caf? terrace ? You know that saying? When in Rome. Well let’s pretend its When in Paris. Do like the parisians, people watch or read a book. There are still many cafes open and many will reopen on Sept 27th. You can check out Kooka Boora in South Pigalle, Caf? Lomi at the foot of Montmartre, La Chope just a stones throw from Sacre Couer and Cafe Marie Stuart on Rue Etienne Marcel for the best morning sunlight Terrace on that street.

4. Walk around the Marais ? Great for Sunday afternoon brunch and stroll. You?ll find the best vintage shops here (Freep Star), Falafel (Mi-Va-Mi), Frozen yogurt, sidewalk cafes and the cutest Parisian fashion boutiques here ( Maje, Zadig & Voltaire).
And this is one of the few place that?s remains opens on a Sunday!

5. Go to the top of Centre Pompidou for a view overlooking Paris: Paris contemporary art museum has lots to see on the inside, but don?t neglect the view at the top and they also have a rooftop Caf? / restaurant.

6. Open Air Cinema at La Villette ? Every year this is the spot to pass your summer evenings away with friends. Bring your snacks and blankets. Typically starts at 10pm when night falls. See the program here

7. Ride a Velib ? You can see the best of Paris on foot or now with a rented bicycle. It?s cheaper than a metro ticket and the first 30 minutes is free. You can find them all over the city to pull out or park one at any time of day or night.

8. Enjoy the Free Photo Expo in Les Halles ? There is a massive exhibition of iconic black and white photos of the great French photographer Robert Doisneau. You remember the famous photo ?The Kiss?? Yup. That?s him. He revolutionized the scene of photography with his Leica camera.

9. Picnic along the Canal ? Get a baguette, buy some fruits at the market, some cheese, ham and bottle of wine and sit with the rest of Paris.

10. Visit an open-air food market ? Paris comes alive at the markets. There are many but here?s one of my favotites at the foot of Montmartre (metro Barbes).
