A little coffee shop gem in the second arrondissement to find great coffee, little snacks in a warm atmosphere.

Beans from Cafe Lomi. Service with a smile ( remember how rare this is in Paris) they also speak english. They have wifi and I’m super excited to see the downstairs area decor when finished  (I went three times in the last week and say a gentleman working his magic on some pretty cool hanging lamps that totally blew my mind – sorry going off on a tangent here – as always!) The space it small but so well done, that you feel so cosy.

In the entrance/ upstairs area I love the little attention to detail in everything including their perfectly made flat whites, green teas and toasts.

Get a fidelity card to stamp every time you buy a hot drink and get a free one (this just brings out the big kid in me!) Not only are they two stones away from my sons school where I can drop in and out before I pick him up, but I feel like I’m being rewarded as a frequent flyer coffee drinker.

You can also buy some serious coffee equipment here for the home – Chemex Coffeemakers & Filters available behind the counter.

Rue D’Argout is a quite side street in the Sentier/Etienne Marcel area, right off Rue Montmartre (a happening street for fashion and nightlife: find the COS store, Cafe Noir, Le Tambour and Yaya Store here for example), cool and a lot less crowded than Rue Montorgueil.
