As a Parisian at heart, there’s nothing I love more than sharing the hidden gems of this beautiful city with others. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to team up with Timeout Paris for a special collaboration, where I guided them through some of my favorite local shopping spots and must-see places in the City of Light. It was a whirlwind day filled with art, music, literature, and wine—and by the end of it, I had gathered more treasures than I could possibly carry back home!
Our adventure began at Galerie Artelie (@galerie_artelie), a vibrant space showcasing contemporary art. This gallery is a haven for art lovers, offering a stunning selection of pieces that capture the essence of modern creativity.
Next, we made our way to Babaluma Paris (@babaluma_paris), a paradise for vinyl enthusiasts. This massive space is dedicated to niche and rare LPs, making it a dream destination for music lovers. I got some Van Morrison, Jimmy Cliff and a very special Symphonie nu 7 by Beethoven.
our next stop at Violette and Co. Librairie (@violetteandco.librairie) was particularly meaningful. This independent bookstore is dedicated to literature focusing on feminist, LGBTQIA+, and gender issues. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with a carefully curated selection of books, makes it a true gem in the Parisian literary scene.

To top off our day, we visited Cave Canaille (@cavecanaille), a delightful wine shop that offers a curated selection of natural wines. The knowledgeable staff helped me choose a few bottles that would be perfect for sharing with friends back home. It was the perfect way to end our shopping spree, with a taste of Paris to take with me across the Atlantic.
