BEST OF PARIS 2013: BRUNCH
Cafe Coutume
{Best coffee brunch}
The coffee at this caf? is renowned for being excellent, and the ever-changing brunch menu is every bit as popular. Original and interesting, this is the ideal place to spend a long and lazy Sunday morning.

Metro: Vaneau (Line 10)
Hotel Amour
{Best trendy brunch}
This quirky hotel is one of our favourites, and it offers a brunch menu that doesn’t leave anything lacking – from the American Eggs Benedict to the more traditional French Croque-Monsieur, you’ll find whatever you’re craving here.
8, rue Navarin
75009 Paris
Metro: Pigalle (Lines 2 and 12)?
Caf? Sesame?
{Best intimate brunch}
This retro kitsch caf? offers everything from finger food to an open kitchen, and its carb-heavy brunch really hits the spot. With the atmosphere almost as satisfying as the food, this place is open until midnight, and you’ll find yourself tempted to stay until then.
51, Quai de Valmy

Metro: R?publique (Lines 3, 8, 11, 5 and 9)
Wanderlust
{Best summer brunch}
Head to this restaurant/ cinema/ studio/ club in summer for a creative and fun atmosphere – including pop-up shops and yoga classes – as well as a quality brunch. Although in terms of the food it’s not the most overwhelming, the atmosphere more than makes up for it, as you can enjoy your brunch overlooking the Seine.

75013 Paris
Metro: Gare d’Austerlitz
Anywhere will be
{Best creative brunch}
No, this isn’t an unusual name for a trendy new Parisian caf? – Emperor Norton is an up and coming caterer who supplies the brunches (as well as the baked goods) to loads of our favourite Parisian spots. Currently providing the Sunday brunch at the hugely popular Rice and Fish Yakimono (with personalised breakfast burritos, vegetarian options and quality coffee and beer), Norton is definitely one to follow closely.

Dear Daisy (is that your name?),
I think your blog is very interesting and detailed, so much information! I’m very sorry that
Paris has had such tragic events recently. Your conversation with your child speaks for all who are trying to continue their daily life. I hope for all living and traveling in Paris that attacks have ceased, and you can enjoy some diversion with the holidays.
Good luck to you,
Lillian Hetherington
