Best Irish Pubs in Paris
In honor of St. Patrick’s day here in Paris, I’ve rounded up a selection of the top Irish pubs / bars; from McBride’s in Les Halles to O’ Connells in Oberkampf.
I chatted to the folks at McBride’s and they assured me there will be a weekend long celebration going on with lots of Live music ( Sunday night), and Dj sets (monday night). ?So if you’re missing a bit of the home spirit or just want to have a jolly ole time with your lads, here are a few places to drink like an irish man and party hardy in Paris. Complete with snapshots from google of the look of the place and nearest metro stop.
My favorite is Quigley’s Point. It being in my old neighborhood, I’d stop in for drinks ?( and chips) with friends before we went to see a movie at UGC Cinema Les Halles; great central location, friendly servers, reasonably priced beers and no smell of urine.
and of?course my last one…
Mc Bride’s Irish Pub
- 54, rue Saint Denis 75001 Paris
- Tel : 01 40 26 46 70
Wanted to add Kitty O’Sheas on this list but due to the very bad reviews its getting on Tripadviser I couldn’t add it to the best of Paris – BUT apparently if you need a place to get Guinness and see a game in that neighborhood, it’ll do.
Also, for anything Irish in Paris related (including the Irish embassy and Cultural center) check out this great map compiled by Tom J. Byrne,?an Irish Artist in Paris
