Vegan Paris: La Chance 18 Rue Custine
Want to find really good vegan food, great coffee in a minimalist yet funky decor? Then if you’re close to Sacre Coeur Church or Chateau Rouge metro, you have to check out La Chance Paris.
Located inside an old hair salon – they still have a lot of the fixtures such as a vintage hair drying chair from the 70s, but also a mini oasis of plants and trees that seems misplaced but gives the cafe a supernatural out of this world feel.
The team behind the famous Fragments coffeeshop (Youssef Li and Chef Jean-Adrien Buniazet) is responsible for this new venture that’s been here for only 3 weeks so far – so things are still a bit work-in-progress mode.
No complicated latte mixes, just black coffee for now.
I chatted with their Barista Charith and he did say that they do plan to make their own home-made vegan milk soon!
They have a simple yet delicious vegan curry for lunch.
Pickled onions are on sale.
Kombucha coming soon…
check out my recent Instagram post and stories to see more of the vegan heaven.
For now open from 8am to 4:30 pm
