Paris – November Things To Do
November in Paris is a great time to visit because we typically have fewer crowds and the Christmas windows start to go up around the middle of the month at many of the top department stores. Of course, there are always tons of things to do in Paris; including tours, romantic dinners, and lots of sightseeing if this is your first time.
Here are a few tips and insights into what typically happens in Paris.
Why visit in November?
It’s totally worth it to visit Paris in November because you get to wander around inside many museums, covered markets, and passages and even take a few days trips to towns close by like Giverney, Disneyland, Bordeaux, or Beaune.
There’s the 2-week school vacation Touissant from 23rd Oct to 8th November.

Corona Update
In order to eat in restaurants, drink in bars, visit museums, etc., you will need the Pass Sanitaire. These three things can count as your pass:
- A negative PCR test from the last 72 hours
- A note that says you have already had the virus
- A vaccination card or QR code
The QR code pass is often simplest to use but can be tedious to get. The instructions for how those outside the EU can get the pass are here: https://www.demarches-simplifiees.fr/commencer/passe-sanitaire-etrangers?locale=en
