Bakery in Paris: P?tisserie Eug?ne
Today we stopped into Eugene at 28 Rue de Lombard for a quick “gouter”; the afternoon sweet treat that kids eat around 4pm here in France. ?I’ve been trying to eat less sugar, while the entire world is fascinated with gluten-free I’m still in the sugar-free phase (I’m not an early adopter of anything, I still use the iPhone 4! I know I know! But it still works just fine…) anywhoooo.
Eugene uses 50% less sugar in all its wonderfully delicious pastries in comparison to the regular bakery here in Paris or France for that matter.

They also offer lunch menus for a lovely round price of 4.90 euros to 7.90 euros. Including sandwiches, salads, breads or dessert. These prices for Paris are literally?unheard of, and for healthy low-fat, low sugar more fiber food too. I’m won over and can’t wait to go back. Hence, why I wanted to share it with you guys! Especially if you’re a diabetic or pregnant living in Paris. Get your fix here and let me know what you think. Move over macarons and say hello to the Chic Mure (the one in the middle of the photo).
