Paris Lockdown, Re-Confinement the 2nd time around!
Today marks 2 days since the official lockdown or reconfinement has returned to France.
When the French president Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday that as of Friday all business will be closed that’s nonessentials yet schools will remain open along with post offices and administrative offices.
Yesterday the prime minister announced that even the non-essential parts of the supermarkets will now be unavailable. So far this time restaurants are able to stay open for takeaway only. So for the next 4 weeks here we go.
If it’s one thing I’ve learned from the 1st lockdown is that we certainly don’t need all that toilet paper!
And that almost everything essential is inside or being provided by people who are overworked and undervalued by society.
Lots of people used the time to rest or better themselves. I did both depending on how I was feeling emotionally and physically as I was also experiencing the black lives matter uprising that was seriously affected by health.
I did a daily SAFE HARBOUR series chat for 15 days, edited a mini-cookbook with Pierre, then I stopped because I really needed to rest.
(Ps I’m still on my healing journey for my Fibroids, so I am really learning to listen to my body and speak nicely to my body).
This time around I’ll share some cheese platter parties, recipes and continue with articles per usual
There will be a series of videos from my home on youtube called CHEZ YANIQUE that you can find here
going into daily rituals of meditation healing stones tarots etc
Stuff we can all use right now to work through a lot of the anxiety in the air.
This is also a great time to plan for 2021 as we are staying put now so my calendars are open for a consultation about making the move to France or Paris
Book a session here [email protected]
In the meantime, I’ll also leave you some photos from a few days ago when we went to the cutest little town close to Bayonne called St Jean de Luz!
I’m loving all these beach towns in France.
