The Best Oysters in Paris
Finding the best place in Paris to eat anything can be a hit or miss, so this year I’m helping you to reserve the most perfect place to enjoy Oysters especially this time of year around Christmas time!
Typically friends and I go out to Le Mary Celeste for Oysters and Champagne to celebrate the end of the year in a casual yet fun way.
This lady – me – happened to not have made a reservation quick enough and lost out on our desired date. I really feel that since the confinement – it’s been harder to get reservations to my fave spots. We are still going out just as much as before or even more than the pandemic. Parisians are back to eating out in full swing! And it couldn’t be any happier because I love to eat out.
Paris feel great again!
Anywhooo, so we had to choose another location. It got me thinking maybe there are many people looking for where in Paris is the best Oyster bar – but the ones actually visited by locals.
So here you go!
I added it on Instagram here

Le Mary Celeste – 1 Rue Commines, 75003 Paris
Le Baron Rouge – 1 Rue Théophile Roussel, 75012 Paris
ISTR (in this video with my friend Mishar ) – 41 Rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, 75003 Paris
Huitrerie Regis – 3 Rue de Montfaucon, 75006 Paris
Clamato – 80 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris
Bulot Bulot – 83 R. des Martyrs, 75018 Paris
I’m going to be making a list of restaurants you can reserve if you can’t get into Septime for example, with the same vibe and food style. If you’ve tried you know how tricky it is getting a reservation there. Clamato is the seafood sister to Spetime by the way, but you have to just walk in. You can also try Septime Cave just down the street, it’s their wine bar.
Would you be excited by a list like this?
