If you’re a bacon lover in Paris – then you need to try the Bacon pancakes at Holybelly. It will be the best you’ll ever have.
So, finger licking good to the point where I found myself sending a late night text to a friend reminiscing over bacon and the most moist?pancakes ever!
I’ve been wanting to properly eat at Holybelly since they opened but due to the waiting lines have always given up, patience is not one of my forte.
But this weekend we went super early and only waited around 10 minutes (the fact that the weather was nice made a world of difference too to wait out front!). ?I’ve been here for afternoon coffee on numerous occasions and “gouter” with my son who loves the pinball machine in the back, but this was the first time I tried the infamous pancakes. It is a hefty meal with a balanced mix of sweet and savory ( I tasted salty caramel and chocolate pieces with the bacon and maple syrup – but that’s just my interpretation – but oh so good!)
All for 13 euros, washed down with some yummy home-brewed ice tea on the side (4 euros).
Perfect for brunch on Sundays, breakfast and kid friendly (if you manage to get a seat at the long table in the back).
