Fringe Coffee: 106 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris
When you open a coffee shop in Paris in the Marais, one of the cities trendiest neighborhoods, then expect to be in great company or fierce competition that forces you to hold your own! And that Fringe Cafe does! The cozy coffee shop that also incorporates a photo gallery concept; actually a multi-usage space that sometimes have musical pop-ups and other events too.
We were impressed by the (free) in-house sparkling ?water, minimalist menu that included the proverbial Avocado toast, but more! The pumpkin soup and this apple cinnamon whole wheat flour cake was an old recipes from the owner’s (Jeff Hargrove ) American mom. The tasty coffee beans are from the genius guys at L’Arbre a Cafe.
Simple wholesome and good much like the feel of the coffee shop.
If you’re a coffee (or tea) lover with a big penchant for discovering new spots for art or if you live in Paris and want to visit a cafe where ?you can have your cake and eat it too (couldn’t resist ..hahaha) go to Fringe.
