Paris Best 10 Concept Coffee Shops
There’s a new breed of coffee shops in Paris town my friends. Cropping up with some interesting mix of third wave style quality coffee in cool?spaces – with concepts unseen so far in the French capital. That’s just about to give every other european city a run for its money. Allez Paris – we got ya!
The Most Floral
PEONIES – as cute as a button, or rather as pretty as a peony (hahaha, couldn’t resist). This coffee shop is bringing new life to the trendy Faubourg St. Denis street; ?a micmac of high and low restaurants can be found here, in a working class part of town. The interiors?are peachy pink, and you’ll always be greeted either by the sweet smell of cakes being baked downstairs or the bouquets of flowers out front for sale.?Beans from Coutume.
The Most Fashionable
THE BROKEN ARM – Still one of the best places in town – to grab a coffee , or have the most instagramable lunch, then hop over to the store for the best in French and Italian fashion (men and women) as well as the coolest coffee table books and magazines.

Books Books & Books
LA REGULIERE – A book lovers dream in a neighbourhood is moving on up like George and Wheezy. This spot is where the cool (nerdy) kids hang now in the 18th, not only because the coffee is great (from Cafe Lomi beans) but also because the space is a massive bookshop that has lots of light coming in for an enjoyable afternoon spent lounging, reading, drinking tea or working on your laptop.
The Most Artisitic
EMPREINTES ?with SEASON – this 3 story building is a new addition to Paris that has us wondering why it didn’t exist before. A space for fine art artisans to choose their work. So you can shop for the best coming direct from french atelier.?And you ‘ll be pleasantly welcomed by the chic decor especially just to the side of the beautiful in-house coffee shop set up by the gang from SEASON Paris.
The Most Trendy
SPREZZATURA – ?In the marais is home to all that’s trendy and fashion forward and Sprezzatura?fits right in. Not only will you find some hand-picked pieces of young european designers you can can’t find elsewhere, you’ll be able to enjoy some coffee out front and read the magazines that are for everyone.
The Most Wellness & Self-care
CHEZ SIMONE – Wellness bound you?are for the end of 2016 and 2017? ? So is Chez Simone. Push back the big Parisian door on Rue de Rivoli , take the elevator up to a space where you’ll find people downwarddogging. But you can also enjoy a nice matcha latte in one other two rooms to the side or sign up for another class that could be on topics of eating well, working out, yoga, meditation etc.
Address: 140 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris
LA CHOUETTE – looking to buy a bike? looking to repair a bike? Looking to go to a chill spot close to republic to have a great cup of coffee with some cool guys. Then go here. They also have daily bagel and soup specials on the menu.
WALRUS – one part record shop and one part cafe, in the French sense (the beans are not of the third wave kind), but a small price to pay for a place with such big character. ?The owner Julie speaks english and you’ll be able to find that one vinvlyl you’ve been aching to add to your LP collection!?Also a cool co-working place close to Gare de Nord.
Co-working / Wi-Fi
HUBSY ?Cafe – on any given day I am simply in amaze at this tiny 2 floor coffee shop that’s always packed to the brim with French start-up guys, and traveling entrepreneurs working on their laptop drinking coffee and snaking. A convivial vibe where people are chill and no ones going to ask you not to take your computer, and the wi-fi is always working!
The Most Healthy & Cosy!
CAFE PINSON – one of the first places to serve truly healthy organic – dairy free, vegan, vegetarian meals in Paris with decent coffee. Check them out at any of their two locations – my fave is still the one in the Marais across from Nanashi.
?The Best Tea
Cueillette Coftea Shop – as you guessed one part coffee and one part tea shop! In a trendy part of town but on a quite street.?If you’re a tea lover and have been secretly hoping that you and your coffee loving best friend can hang out for once and not feel like compromising then Cueillette is for you!
The best for Photo lovers
Fringe Coffee Shop ?- So I discovered Fringe Coffee Shop yesterday after publishing this article – so I had to do a little update as this place was so cool! ?A mix of really good coffee, homemade food and photo exhibition the walls.
