Some people might call Le Floreal a typical dive bar in Paris. But I beg to differ. Inside this recently refurbished cafe you'll find Mondrian inspired decor meets the neighborhoods signature mix of dirty and chic. Hey! It's in the Goncourt / Belleville area. What else would you expect. A cozy little bar opened up on a street corner somewhere in the Goncourt / Belleville Paris neighborhood recently called L'Orillon Bar. Go for the cheap beer and wine at 2.50 Euros, stay for easy-going atmosphere of friends dining on mismatched plates and laughter everywhere. Wish a host of innovative recipes like Roasted Pork with Olives or Saut?ed Veal i[...]

Fancy my surprise when I saw a familiar face from another good Parisian coffee shop - always nice to catch up over a cup of jo with nice folks. LET's be FACEB[...]
After 6 years Paris has taken a close second to my favorite city in the world: NYC. And funnily enough last night I dropped into a resutarnt called Paris New York. Along Rue Faubourg St. Denis I waited on a friend in front of our regular hang out - Chez Jeanette. But I was drawn over to this new place across the street by the broadway style lights they have on the entrance - and of course any place fit to look like a movie set is fit to have me in it! This bright light enigma is Paris New Yo[...]
