With the Canal Saint-Martin in walking distance from my apartment, my friends and I seem to find ourselves in the 10th arrondissement most of the time for great shopping, eating and people watching. We recently scurried into Siseng on the canal at the end of the lunch hour and were not disappointed. There was a lack of signage or menus but the crowd and their hearty plates drew us in. A little hole in the wall restaurant open on 17 Rue Martel just off Rue du Paradis is Le Look offering seasonal homestyle?cuisine. Mostly green and healthy sandwiches and salads like this chicken one we had. They are also a coffee shop should you need a fix in the area.
